About Us: O.A.S.I.S. is a division of Radio Free Babylon, LLC.

The root of our mission at OASIS is the free gift of lawn maintenance. We like to do it anonymously if we can get away with it. Our members agree to give the gift of lawn maintenance to one needy yard per week. They pick the yard. They can make it an old lady who can't do it on her own. They can make it a poor family where both parents work all the time. They can mow the lawn of a single mom. They can make it a sick person. Our members look for the bad lawns and find out why they're bad. If they see some young guy who looks like he can push a mower hanging out there - then they pass that lawn by - that's just laziness.

OASIS members give their gift to someone who needs it and will appreciate it. If at all possible, it is recommended that OASIS crews practice "guerilla landscaping," where no one even knows they were there. A Landscaping Strike Force, in and out...because the thrill of giving in secret is better than the pride of recognition.

Our scapers can even make their weekly lawn some poor church in a bad part of town. They don't have to do the same lawn every week. They can pick a different one each week, or they can stick with one they want to help out and keep that yard as a regular.
